Pocono Township Planning Commission Openings

Pocono Township is now accepting resumes of volunteers to fill three vacant seats with the Planning Commission. One seat as a member is currently open along with two seats as alternates. The Planning Commission is the first level of review regarding new plan submissions under consideration prior to being recommended to the Board of Commissioners for Resolution approval. You must be a Pocono Township Full Time Resident and available the Second and Fourth Monday of each month for a 6:00 p.m. meeting. If you have any questions, please contact the township office at 570-629-1922. The Board of Commissioners will hold interviews at 6:00 p.m. during the regular BOC meeting scheduled for June 15, 2026 located at 205 Old Mill Road, Tannersville, PA. 18372

Drop-off Location: 112 Township Drive, Tannersville Rain or shine, we’ll be ready for you! Our amazing Department of Public Works team will be on-site to help unload your vehicles. Storm Damage Relief Grant

Pocono Township residents who experienced storm damage during the July 3–6 storms may qualify for a Storm Damage Relief Grant . Scan the QR code on this flyer to submit your application.  Applications will be accepted through September 16, 2026, or until all available funds have been exhausted , whichever comes first. If you experienced storm damage during these storms, don’t wait—apply as soon as possible.
