Environmental Advisory Council
The Pocono Township Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) advises the Township Board of Commissioners on environmental issues, conservation efforts, and sustainable development within Pocono Township. The Council works to protect and enhance the township’s natural resources through planning, research, and community engagement.
The EAC helps identify environmental concerns, recommends conservation strategies, reviews natural resource protection measures, and supports the preservation of open space and environmentally sensitive areas. The Council also promotes environmental education and encourages community involvement in programs that improve and sustain the township’s natural environment.
Through collaboration with township officials, residents, and local organizations, the Environmental Advisory Council helps guide responsible stewardship of Pocono Township’s land, water, and natural resources for current and future generations.
