LEGAL NOTICE
NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Pocono Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, will consider for adoption at a Public Meeting to be held at 6:00 p.m. on the 3 rd day of November, 2025, at the Pocono Township Municipal Building, 205 Old Mill Rd, Tannersville, Pennsylvania 18372 (the “Municipal Building”), an Ordinance amending the Pocono Township Code of Ordinances, Chapter 356 Solid Waste, Article II Recycling, to comply with the requirements of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and applicable statutory provisions affecting solid waste and recycling, The Municipal Waste Planning, Recycling and Waste Reduction Act of July 28, 1988 (P.L. 556, NO. 101), as amended, and repealing all ordinances and parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith Copies of the proposed Ordinance are available for review at the Municipal Building, during normal business hours.
