The Pocono Township Zoning Hearing Board will conduct a public hearing on Thursday,
April 25, 2024, beginning at 5:00 P.M. at the Pocono Township Municipal Building, 112 Township
Drive, Tannersville, PA 18372, to consider PoconoPlaces, LLC’s appeal from three Enforcement
Notices issued by the Pocono Township Zoning Officer on February 20, 2024. Those Enforcement
Notices alleged that the Appellant violated the following provisions of the Pocono Township
Zoning Ordinance: (1) §470-121 by establishing a salvage/junk yard on the subject property
without first obtaining a Zoning Permit; (2) §470-17 by establish a salvage/junk yard when that
use is not permitted in the Commercial (C) zoning district; and (3) §470-122 by using and
occupying the subject property as a salvage/junk yard without first obtaining a Certificate of Use
and Occupancy.
PoconoPlaces, LLC owns the properties that are subject to the February 20, 2024
Enforcement Notices. Those properties are located along Route 611 in Pocono Township,
Monroe County, PA, in the Commercial (C) zoning district, and are identified as Parcel ID #s. (Map #12-6364-02-68-5194); (Map #12-6364-02-68-7334); and
(Map #12-6364-02-68-5296).
This appeal will be consolidated with, and considered at the same hearing as, the pending
appeal from the Enforcement Notice dated December 13, 2023, which relates to Appellant’s
property identified as Parcel ID No. (Map #12-6364-01-68-5335).

regular business hours. The public and all interested persons are invited to attend the public
hearing and to present any relevant evidence in connection with the matter. If you require any
