Pocono Township is a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania governed by the First Class Township Code (enacted June 24, 1931). The Township is governed by five elected Commissioners who each serve for a term of four years. The overall operations of the Township are administered by an appointed Township Manager; the fiscal health of the Township is overseen by the appointed Treasurer; public safety is maintained under the command of the Chief of Police; and roads and parks are overseen by the Road Supervisor.
The Pocono Township team works tirelessly to create a community where its residents and business can thrive.
