NOTICE TO BIDDERS
SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted by the Pocono Township Board of Commissioners until 10:00 a.m., on Monday May 15, 2023 at the Pocono Township Municipal Building, 112 Township Drive, Tannersville, PA 18372 for the following:
3,704 Tons Scratch Course, PG64S-22, 0 to .3 Million ESALs, 9.5 MM, 120 lbs/SY, SRL-L
5,131 Tons Wearing Course, PG64S-22, 0 to .3 Million ESALs, 9.5 MM, 180 lbs/SY, 1.5” Depth, SRL-L
21,400 LF 4” Double Yellow Center Line Paint with Glass Beads
42,800 LF White Edge Line Paint with Glass Beads
All materials must meet PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified and must supply proof of prequalification.
Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Proposal forms, specifications and bid information can be obtained at the Pocono Township Municipal Building at the above address or by calling (570) 629-1922, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Pocono Township.
The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract.
All bids will be opened publicly and read at approximately 10:15 a.m., on Monday May 15, 2023 at the Township Building. The bids will be presented to the Township Commissioners at their regular scheduled meeting on Monday May 15, 2023 at approximately 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows.
Pocono Township Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Township.
