NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Pocono Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, will consider at a Public Hearing to be held at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd day of November, 2020, at the Pocono Township Municipal Building, 112 Township Drive, Tannersville, Pennsylvania 18372, the adoption of an Ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of Pocono Township, by amending “Chapter 200, Fireworks” to require the posting of placards at fireworks sales facilities to advise customers of dates when fireworks are permitted to be discharged within the Township; amending the enforcement, violation and penalty provisions; and repealing all ordinances inconsistent therewith.
